Rhumba are one of our newest clients, and already one of our favourites.
At heart it is an upmarket coffee shop, though that undersells it. Good coffee, delicious bites, and a room with the kind of atmosphere you cannot manufacture and customers keep coming back for. That loyalty is worth more than any marketing budget, and it is exactly why Rhumba is worth building carefully around. When a business is already loved, the job is not to change it. It is to give it the brand, the presence and the ideas to become even more of what people already adore. Get that wrong and you break the spell. Get it right and you compound it.
Because a well-run venue like Rhumba does not need reinventing, it needs sharpening. The coffee and the welcome were already excellent. The brand wrapped around them had not quite caught up, and the business rightly sensed there was more on the table than a full room each morning. They wanted three things. A physical presence that matched the quality of what they serve, from the menu in your hand to everything a customer sees and touches. A clearer sense of their wider brand experience. And some honest, grounded thinking about how to grow beyond the four walls of the shop, without ever losing the character that makes it special in the first place.
So we began where it would be felt first and fastest, refreshing the physical collateral and designing new menus that carry the brand with the same care Rhumba puts into a flat white. Small things, noticed by everyone, that quietly tell a customer this is a place that takes itself seriously in all the right ways. From there we have been helping shape a future brand experience, and working through new revenue streams that genuinely fit who Rhumba is, rather than chasing whatever happens to be fashionable this quarter. Every idea is held up against one simple question: does this make Rhumba more itself, or less? Only the ones that pass make it through, because growth that dilutes the brand is not growth worth having.
There is already a sharper, more coherent look in the room, visible to every single customer who walks through the door. It is early in the relationship, and that is exactly what makes it exciting. The foundations are set, the ambition is shared, and the direction is clear. What Rhumba has now is not simply a smarter menu, it is a plan: a real sense of where the brand and the business can go next, and a partner committed to getting them there. The best coffee shops become the places people cannot imagine their week without. That is the trajectory we are building towards, together, one considered decision at a time.
